Everyone loves a great event, right? In true Texas style, Matthew McConaughey, Mack Brown, and Jack Ingram, Mack, Jack & McConaughey (MJ&M), in their joint fundraising effort, are also joining forces with designers-to-the-stars Badgley Mischka to raise money to benefit Children’s Charities of America. The designers will debut their latest collection at an exclusive fashion show at Neiman Marcus Austin, on April 25th. Among attendees will be the designers themselves, Amy Ingram, and Camila Alves McConaughey, along with the host Sally Brown.
This event will be a truly unique experience combining the best that Texas has to offer; fashion, live music, golf and a little bit of Longhorn football all mixed together. Badgley Mischka is the perfect design team to complement this opportunity to support great causes, as the well-known American designers have dressed the likes of Hollywood’s A-list and have been a staple in the fashion industry since 1988. Their designs exude glamour and sophistication.
The event kicks off on Thursday April 24the followed by a whirlwind of events including a Gala, Live Auction and a very special performance by Jack Ingram. After his performance follows the sold-out Sheryl Crow concert. The following day, the event will continue with the Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament hosted at Barton Creek Resort. Coinciding with the golf tourney is the fashion show, and it will also be followed by a performance by Jack Ingram & Friends concert with Little Big Town at ACL Live at The Moody Theater. The goal of these events is to benefit organizations that share the goal of empowering children and this year the organizations chosen to benefit from this event are: The Rise School of Austin, just keep livin Foundation, Heart Gift, CureDuchenne, and Grounded in Music.
