HORSE SENSE: 3rd ANNUAL WIMBERLY CLASSIC AT BEL CANTO FARM

Want to see gorgeous horses at their best? Bel Canto Farms in Wimberley, Texas recently announced it will be hosting the 3rd Annual Wimberley Classic Horse Show on Sunday, September 28th to benefit Wimberley’s own Starlight Symphony Orchestra.

The horse show will feature a Short Stirrup Classic for children 12 and under, a

2’ Hunter Derby, and 2’6” Hunter Derby and a Jumper stake with jumps from 3’-3’6” in height. Felicia Davis, a USEF “R” Judge will be judging the horses and riders, and it will be a free event open to all ages.

What’s better than enjoying a beautiful fall day at a charity horse show that raises funds for Wimberley’s own Starlight Symphony? It turns out the symphony has been performing complimentary concerts in Wimberley and its surrounding areas since 2003.The organization is comprised of both professional and amateur musicians along with college and younger students, so it’s quite a gathering of talent. The Wimberley Classic itself was founded by Suzanne Warmack, owner of Bel Canto Farms and who has also been a violinist with The Starlight Symphony since 2007.
