LET IT BE FUN: THE LONG CENTER’S 9TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION, MAR. 4

The Long Center for the Performing Arts is turning nine years old as it celebrates the occasion with Peace. Love. Long Center, a 9th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, March 4, including a gala and special presentation of the international hit Let It Be. It’s a rare opportunity to hear The Beatles’ greatest hits from the Dell Hall stage and to top off the evening, the fun continues through midnight with a festive after party. And, it seems like yesterday that we attended the opening starring Texan and Broadway great Tommy Tune.

We love that Peace. Love. Long Center, co-chaired by Olga Campos Benz and Kevin Benz, is the Long Center’s largest fundraising event of the year. This ninth anniversary event will raise funds to continue expanding the Long Center’s mission and support its free community events, as well as its eight educational and outreach - programs that impact more than 80,000 youth annually.

Co-chairs Campos and Benz promise an unforgettable evening for all, sharing, “It’s our incredible good fortune to be able to expand on the Let It Be experience as we host Peace. Love. Long Center. This entertaining evening will make it possible for the Long Center to not only continue its support of arts education and community events, but also its ability to support small and emerging arts groups.”

After the show, Beatlemania continues with the Let It Be after party featuring desserts, and open bar and dancing until midnight. For an additional $50, ticket holders to the performance of Let It Be can keep the party going long after the show is finished.

So, what are you waiting for? Relive the ‘60s with us at Peace. Love. Long Center as we celebrate nine incredible years of Long Center performing arts. Tickets for Peace. Love.
