Vive La France

A Bastille Day Celebration

We love all things French, and we also love a good party. Combine the two and viola’, a Bastille Day celebration in Austin, TX.

Social gadabout Camille Parker let us in on the big party secret: the Alliance Française D’Austin and the historic French Legation Museum that will host a Bastille Day Fête to remember.

Held at the French Legation Museum at 802 San Marcos Street on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 7-11 PM. Complete with live French music, mouth-watering culinary fare from Austin’s best French vendors, and a silent auction to impress, it promises to be a tres’ chic event.

Feast your eyes on French antiques, enjoy tri-color macarons... and there is a children’s area for all ages, too.

Proceeds from the festival benefit the Frédérique Moinard Memorial Scholarship, given yearly to a local student. Tickets are only $8 in advance, $10 at the door and for more information, visit www.afaustin.org
