All you art lovers across Texas won’t want to miss this year’s Art City Austin on April 29 - May 1, one of the city’s biggest festivals for collectors of fine art. With some of the hippest galleries and over 200 artists on display, you’ll have the opportunity to view some of the newest, most interesting, and collectible art in the market. Whether you’re looking for a prize piece for your curated collection, or a fresh new decorative element for your home, you’ll enjoy a huge range of styles at your fingertips.
After seven years of calling Cesar Chavez home, Art City Austin will now take place at the beautiful and scenic Palmer Events Center along the shores of Lady Bird Lake downtown. You don’t need to be a collector to enjoy Art City Austin. Simply viewing the art on display while savoring a springtime stroll by the lake, is a treat in itself. As if that weren’t enough, Art City Austin has partnered with the music organization Black Fret to provide a stellar lineup of local Austin musicians to provide live entertainment, including Barbara Nesbitt, Barfield, Dan Dyer, Eric Tessmer, Hard Proof Afrobeat, Jonathan Terrell, Jackie Venson, Sarah Sharp, Tameca Jones, Warren Hood, Water & Rust, Zeale and more special guests to be announced.
