DALLAS GETS MORE LUXE: HOTEL CRESCENT COURT

Back in our dad’s day of the high-flying 80s in Texas, the epicenter of the world of primetime soap hero J.R. Ewing was Dallas. And where was his favorite haunt? It was Hotel Crescent Court (former Rosewood Crescent) in Uptown Dallas, way before Uptown became Uptown.

It’s always been a mainstay, much like the Adolphus, The Mansion and other swankiendas. But recently, we’ve rediscovered the Hotel Crescent Court, with its highly-anticipated, $30 million renovation will officially be completed as of February 2018.

We were just there and can attest to how cool it is. And, is it ever luxe personified. In fact, the Dallas-based interior design firm, Waldrop + Nichols, led the charge redesigning all 195 guest rooms and 31 suites, as well as elevators and guest-room corridors, while the Dallas-based interior design firm, Michelle Meredith & Associates, spearheaded the overhaul of the 22,000 sq. ft. spa and fitness center.

So what are you waiting for? Get thee to the Hotel Crescent Court on your next jaunt to Dallas – your inner J.R. Ewing would also likely enjoy a bourbon and branch water at The Crescent Club located conveniently at the top of the building with a panorama vista of Big D. like no other view in town.
