MAD MEN’S MEETS MOD 60’S WITH NEW SEASON

Revisionist history? Nope, it’s Mad Men’s new season on AMC that will chronicle a sea of 60s change as it premiered this week. Mad Men is an American period dramatelevision series created and produced by Matthew Weinerand launched in 2007, The series was renewed for a sixth season,[1] which premiered this past Sunday night to more critical acclaim than usual.

Every pop cultural hipster knows that Mad Men is set in the 1960s, initially the office locale was at the fictional Sterling Cooper advertising agency on Madison Avenue in New York City, and later at the newly created firm Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.

It follows the lives, and many times, small nuances of the show’s primary characters from pre teen daughters to octogenarian bosses from the office places to their suburban prisons, and all cocktail bars in between, because according to the show, everyone liked to have a rip-roaring good time back in the 60s.
